Back in the 90's, I had a hobby of following my friends around at clubs and making them write bad poetry for me. The word poetry was used very loosely. Well, completely incorrectly would be a better term since it was also used for articles, completely fabricated self-help columns and random complete and utter nonsense.
These are the results of those (often drunken) ramblings.

Fate #3

Fate #3
By Nancy

Sometimes you can’t control
What happens
Fate can really fuck you
Over
If growing your hair long
And running around like a
Monkey
Makes you feel good inside
Then do it!
You never know when the
Next disgruntal postage
Employee will strike.

Nancy had a habit of calling poems "Fate" as you can see. They were always dark and rather bitter. So you could say her poems were like chocolate. It would be wrong, but you could say it. Obviously, the best part is the surreal line breaks which would create a rather disturbing rhythm if anybody would bother to read it like that.
I don't think the all caps was done on purpose, but I do feel the poem works best if it's shouted so that's how you should read it.

Fish and Chips

Fish and Chips
By Unknown

What is Arthur’s Treasure? Is it his girlfriend’s box
That smells like fish and he munches on it while
Watching old 70’s reruns? Or is it the secret way
He batter his fish with that special homemade
Batter. Whatever his secret  is, we will never know
But it sure does smell fishy in here.

It says Unknown, but I'm pretty sure this was written by Monica. She would get this intense hatred for random stores in the mall. Not that she had ever shopped or eaten there, if she could see it from the food court stand where she worked and she could find any reason to disapprove, she would write a poem about it.

I must say this is a particularly unpleasant drawing that accompanies this poem. I can't even think of anything else to say about it, I just don't want to look at it anymore.

I love you Soloflex

By???

This could be your arm
This could be your leg
This could be your stomach
This could be the way

The Haagen-Dazs
Muscle Machine
Only $39 a month. Call
1-800-BIG-N-FAT

I really have no idea who did this one. It looks a bit like Nancy's handwriting, but it' not the kind of poem that she would write. It is not smutty or angy or full of angry smut. I do think those were some halloween stickers I had so it had to be one of my people that wrote it and not one of the random strangers at the Kitchen Club.

Waiting for Mario’s band to play late one Tuesday evening

By (me?)
I didn't sign it, but I'm pretty sure it must have been me

Bored, bored, bored
Time passes
By, by, by
Nothing ever happens here
Might as well
Die, die, die
Get off the stage
You boring band
I came to see my friend play
You’re wasting my time

Mystery Poem

Untitled
By: I honestly don’t remember

Come to me
You delicious piece
Of manhood
My big beautiful
Black stallion
Let me ride you
Off into the sunset
I will ride you bareback
I will ride you hard
I will ride you like
You have never been ridden
Before.

Apparently nobody wanted to take credit for this one, even back then. I have a suspicion it was either Begly, or Patty and I pretending to be Begly. I have been looking over all the poems and Begly seems to have been a big source of inspiration for Patty and me.

Here is the original from the zine
